Maura Doern Danko is a painter, lecturer on art, and art project coordinator. She teaches as Adjunct Professor at Mercy College, and Adjunct Associate Professor at New York Institute of Technology and presents workshops and lectures throughout the northeast.
Recent projects where Maura’s painting was featured include Fort Pitt Museum (Pittsburgh), First Street Gallery (Chelsea NY), and Concordia College (Bronxville, NY). Her work has been exhibited at The Painting Center (NY), Braddock’s Unsmoke Systems, and The Brew House, among other venues. Her painting is in the permanent collection of The Hoyt Art Institute, and many private collections.
